When we discussed exploring the possibilities of Naturally Dyed Easter Eggs, we were not prepared for the GLORIOUS colors that could be achieved with common vegetables, and a little vinegar and salt.
Gorgeous and deep, these jewel-toned eggs are just stunning.
Eggs this lovely, deserve a fitting setting, so we created an edible basket, woven from bread dough. We use Sarah's Classic White Sandwich Bread for the dough, as it works perfectly with this tutorial.
We chose to make this basket as part of an Easter-themed centerpiece, it can also be used as a beautiful and edible bread basket for your holiday table. Just fill the finished bowl with assorted rolls.
